Troubleshooting a Web Site

Help!! My web page is failing to load even though I have uploaded all my files!

  1. A web page not loading may be due to reasons beyond your control.
There could be a problem with the connection between your computer and the server which your home page is hosted on. Contact the technical support team of your hosting provider and perform a trace route report, a document that checks all network connections between a computer and a web site.
  2. Your name server configurations may be incorrect. Your domain name needs to point to the correct server. The correct domain name server (DNS) addresses should be provided by your hosting company, which you would in turn need to provide to your domain name registrar. If you bought your domain name and hosting service from the same web page, then this may be automatically configured to point to the correct servers.
